Breast Cancer Awareness Month

As you may all know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. It is very important that we all participate in this one way or another. My grandmother has breast cancer. My mom had symptoms of breast cancer but thank God it wasn't. I've heard of many women that have passed away because of breast cancer. That is why we should come together to help the women overcome this. It might not have any effect on you but think about the families out there, the children of these women. There are many ways to support. You can donate money to an organization or send in your Yoplait caps. I also heard twitter was donating $0.05 everytime someone tweeted #beatcancer, so tweet! You can also help by help spreading the word about breast cancer. A mamogram is to be done every year. Just to make sure everything is fine and to detect cancer early. If the cancer is detected early,
then it is easier to treat and get rid of. So encourage all the women to get check-ups!
